Hello everyone, I was looking at several other buggies online and noticed a majority had fuel filters. My Razor did not come with one, is this something that I should add? Also can I shorten the fuel line so that i is not so cluttered under the skin or is this going to effect the buggies performance? Thanks for any assistance here, I looked for a thread that may contain info on this topic and could not find any!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Jason

A fuel filter is a good idea here is a link to one. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXK134&P=ML

If you want to shorten your fuel line you can, however if you flip over your run time will be shortened. The added fuel line keeps the vehicle running longer if its on its back.
Hope this helps.

Hey there again {GBI}Harryball, another quick question for you. I have been reading about the carb and air filter and see that it is suggested that you use air filter oil as well as cleaning the air filter in soapy water after each use. My question is that my Razor's air filter is totally enclosed with the exception of a tiny air hole at the end of the plastic unit that incases the filter, would it still be a good idea to use the air filter oil? Thanks again for your help!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Jason

always use air filter oil ! very important because it helps to trap dirt from going through the air filter

Yes its a very good idea, small particles of dirt can pass thru the form, with the air filter oil this is less likely. Cleaning it is also a very good idea I personally use Dawn dishwahing detergent. Its a mild degreaser and cleans them up well. Again if you have anymore questions just let me know. You could pm me if you would like.
