Good Day

I have just charged my HFP-10 for the 1st time and it only accepted a charge of 33mA. I then plugged a 5955 servo into the unit, switched it on and after the "HITEC HFP-10" page appears it goes to the "...Pulse 0us..." window. I have tried the INPUT button but it then goes to the "Measure Pulse" window and no further. Pushing the other buttons does nothing at all so I was wondering is there a way to reset the unit so that I can start back at the "factory reset" page for the servo, because right now nothing works and this is a new unit.

I am new to using this unit so I am trying to follow the guide published on the "operation manual" page and that shown on te back of the unit itself.

I thought the battery needed a more thorough charging and it once again went up to 33mA and the charger shut down the cycle, perhaps a charge/discharge cycle to give it a "kick-start" would be in order!?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, sure hate spending that much money on what is basically a brick right now!

Cheers

Dave

The Hitec programmers must be charged with a 50 -110 mAh wall type charger as a peak detect charger will trip out. If a fast or cycle charge is required then the cap to the internal battery must be removed at the opposite end to the input/output sockets and battery will slide out - connected with a standard battery plug.
