I just got my Xspec 3D today and man was I impressed. For $300 dollars I just couldn't pass this up.
I bought the ARF package complete with electronics(motor,35amp esc, lipo battery, servos and gyro). I am however going to use my futaba 401 gyro .I am amazed with all of the aluminum components that come with the kit. There really is a lot here for the
Yes it is an ARF but helicopters and new pilots still benefit from a thourogh blueprint nose to tail.
The likely hood of a screw backing out due to vibration is reduced and new pilots will become more familiar with the parts of the heli for adjusments, repairs and maintinence.
My first order of bussiness is going to involve sizing the ball links and blue loc titeing all metal on metal screws.
Next after that I will build the complete air frame then install the electronics and put the finishing touches on the canopy.I also purchased some of the blue camo wrap.
From what I understand this stuff will wrap and stick to any contour.Check out the wraps link on hobbyspec.com .
I'll do a complete step by step build up with pictures this weekend.

Just the one retailer, I'm always scarred of buying something especially a helicopter if I have to rely on only one retailer. It kept me from buying the HDX500.
