I received the Freestyle Hobby belt tail upgrade yesterday and I just finished flying my first battery with it...
OMG...I can not believe how much of a difference it makes!!!!
Along with the FUtaba 401 Gyro, DX6i radio, bell-hiller head, brushless motor and ESC, I have the heli I have wanted in the Axe now!
Of all the upgrades I have done...this is the best!
I am so very pleased with the way the Axe flys now!
Thank you Don!

It was $105 shipped to the states. I have a second Axe and I plan on ordering a kit for it as well...in hind sght...I should have bought a betl driven tail heli...but my LHS carries the Axe so we bought them for the wife and I for our Christmas presents to each other...The wife has hated trying to fly the Axe because it is so twitchy...so we bought her a Blade CX2 which she just loves...with this upgrade I am sure she will be able to fly the Axe now without having to chase the tail she can concentrate on learning control.

Dru,
You will be amazed at the difference.
If only hind sight was 20/20...I would never have bought a motor driven tail.
But I have learned so much from the Axe so I can not complain too much.
Besides I ordered the Helipro Black Hawk 450 and it is on its way SO the hanger is starting to grow
Ed

Well My AXE is almost fully ready. I have a bell hiller mod and a GY240 on it now. I may just break down and get the belt mod. I was amazed at how fast the 240 dropped in with the stock 3 in 1.

Now to get the belt tail and put a HS-50 on it with the 240. Yeah I will be happy with that
