I have just bought one of these, and I see the frequency selection switches are on the side, thereby requiring the module to be removed to change frequency. I am a bit concerned that the contacts will lose tension after a few months use if the frequency is changed a minimum of twice per weekend through the removal to change the freq. Have any problems become apparent?
Thanks,
Adrian

By removal to change the frequency, I understand you mean the plastic tabs on the module case.
A number of your 36 MHz modules have been sold locally and I personally change between at least 2-3 modules several times weekly, especially during demonstrations, and have not yet broken a tab in past 8+ years. In need, replacement cases are available as shown HPF-M RF Module Case .

Thanks Alan, I was worried about intermittent contact with the connecting pins to the module....IE, will the transmitter become unreliable due to a contact going intermittent.
I hadn't thought about the securing clips! just the electrical contacts. I had a similar effect in a similar situation with other rc gear a while back.

Have not seen nor had any problem referred for correction to date, relating to the connecting pins in either the Eclipse or the Optic 6.
