I have 2 HS-5245MG servos both of which lost center by at least 45 degrees during their first use. Problem is not in the gears. I don't want to buy two new ones unless this is a known problem which has been corrected. Input?

45 degrees? Obviously something is wrong... I would suggest you send them in and let us check them out. Mike.
