Okay I finally got Adobe Premiere to work enough for me. I shoudl have stuck to Windows Movie Maker.

Here is the maiden flight of Phil's Ziroli Hellcat. Sorry it's not the best I've done. I forgot my steady cam and it was a bit breezy. Still I was able to capture about half the flight decently.

Roy Maynard with his Moki powered Yellow Zero.

Kirk Hall with a Yellow Spitfire Y-BH and a red Fokker in the back.

I didn't get all the planes together for a photo shoot. Will try again nextime.

Well it wasn't a tuesday but it was some flying and mostly warbirds in the Minneapolis area. A bunch of us came to Fleming Field for the Open house and Fly in at the airport. They gave us 3 one hour times to fly. The winds were fine the first hour but up a little by the first afternoon slot. Still there was some good flying and inbetween helping spot for Cal and Phil I took some pictures.

I dumped them all to Picasa and you can see them at this link: http://picasaweb.google.com/vintauri/FlemingField

Ottere where in Mankato do you fly? Send me a message and perhaps we can meet up sometime. I often fly with the guys over in Owatonna on the weekends.

We are out every Tuesday from about 2 pm till dark. Lately, the weather has been bad, and many of us have been too busy to fly. Lots of wind and rain this year. We are there every Tuesday, weather permitting.

Hey Vintauri,
Do you know what kind of engine Phil is using in his Ziroli Hellcat (the one you took the video of)? I'd love to have some more details on it.
Thanks.

F4u5 -> RE: Warbird Tuesday's in Minneapolis - 2008 picture thread (7/20/2008 3:26:07 AM)

Phil has a Q-100 with a 24x12 3-blade prop. Plane weighs 38 pounds and has no lead in the nose. Very unusual for a Hellcat. I was the test pilot for Phil.
