I'm planning on the Cermark rep's recommended HS-625mg's for the ailerons and two 645MG's in the tail of their newest 2nd version Cermark 9.?lb Sukhoi 31.

A 69 inch wingspan with aerobat/3D expected performance w/ a G23 in the nose

The slowness of the 645's at just .20/second@6v (torque is 133@6v or107@4.8v) is bothering me.

Does anyone think it's gonna make a big difference if the 625's (.13sec and 94oz.) are used all around being that their way fa.ster and only 13oz. less torque if ran at 6Volts
or
Am I better off going with the higher torque and less speed?

Typically the 645's are plenty fast enough for 3D flying. If you want better performance I would suggest the digital version (5625/5645) or better yet, step up to the coreless motor 985MG or digital 5985MG.

Mike.

Do you think the 625's have the strentgth to handle the rudder or elevator if I run them at 6volts.....even though there's a 13oz/ft difference?

I don't wanna spend the $$ for the digitals.

I hope you don't mind but i presented this question on the 3D forums for more opinions from more 3D guys just to see if they agree.

Thanks for your time, Mike.

I''d probably go with the 645 for the rudder, but the 625''s should be fine for the elevator and ailerons.

The Cermark rep said to go with the 645 on the elevator since it uses a single servo and a rod that connects the 2 sides together. I questioned the elevator recomendation myself cuz the usual stronger servo in the rudder is the norm.

Sorry, I was assuming it had one servo per elevator half.... yes, the 645 would be a better choice.
