Status: offline 		Cessna actually made a 172 RG, just not many. There was a thread a while back on the subject. If Hostetler made the plane as the RG he would be the best one to contact.

Status: offline 		The answer to your question is no. There are no retracts available for a Hostetler or any other Cessna 172. The Cessna 172RG "Cutlass" was a neat airplane but nobody wanted to deal with retracts on such an otherwise simple airplane. They did not sell well and thus were discontinued after a year or two of production.

Status: offline 		they dont even manufacture parts for them anymore......we had to wait 4 months for cessna to manufactur a part for the retracts

Not sure if this will help , But i have a friend that's building a Hostetler Cessna Skymaster, He has a set of retracts

for it that were made by Century Jet , Again i don't know if C.J. makes the gear anymore, The Cessna 337 & 172 RG

had simular gear if not the same.
