KezzerOne -> Fixed pitch rotor blades!?!? (4/11/2008 4:44:47 PM)

Hello all..... I was hoping you guys would know of some websites to purchase some decent (NOT stock) blades for my Heli.. I have a Honey Bee FP that I have converted to a Slo-Max brushed motor, GWS DD tail, Lipos, and currently use Kyosho M24 blades. They are MUCH better than the stock Honey Bee blades, however, I am finding them extremely difficult to find! I know of the kyoshousa.com and ultimatehobbies.com sites, but they are charging $12.99 for the blades and then an additional $8.95 shipping charge!!! So I'm looking at close to $35 just to get a pair of spare blades!

I know my options are limited because my heli is fixed pitch, but the stock blades are just complete garbage!! I don't think I have EVER received a pair that were balanced and didn't track horribly!!

Can anyone any suggest an economical (preferably under $15) set of blades to try out, and where to purchase??

Thanks alot!!

13 bucks aint bad for a set of blades, might not hurt so bad if you anticipate wrecking a few pairs and buy 4-5 sets of them so you don''t have to pay shipping every time you trash a set.

I don''t have an HBFP so can''t make a suggestion as far as the blades go for replacements but I would bet someone around here knows.

Thats what I hoped, but apparently nobody flies a FP or nobody has ever bought anything other than stock blades..... [sm=71_71.gif]

I do have a HBFP, just got it and haven''t flown it yet so I can''t say anything about the blades.
I also have a Falcon 40, and never had any problems with the stock blades.
