pilot dood -> need CG help (4/11/2008 5:01:26 PM)

I need a little help finding max and min CG as the paper work has been lost long ago [&o] It is a waco bipe, possibly a global ARF .25 size, it is now equiped with a .30FS. I have an understanding of CG, to a point @ approx 33%, however, as this wing config is offset and I cannot recall what the specs were, I really dont want to use guess work upon the maiden flight, we all know that can get very ugly very fast. I belive this plane is a discontinued model, I bought it from fountain valley CA hobby people warehouse blowout saleseveral years ago, if that will help at all

And let's use the term "center of balance" as that's really what you're interested in. Tex.

[sm=confused.gif] Why not use CG or "center of mass"? I believe they all mean the same thing but CG is usually used for aircraft.

Boat guys like to use COB.
COB
COG
COP
COF
COFF

All these CO's are trying to do the same thing. Make the moving object be very stabile at speed.

How about 1 new term? SAS.........Stabile at speed.
