My brother did the same thing mid battery and lowered it. It still does it though. he also had to put a mg servo for steering because he has stripped 3 gear sets on the stock one. I checked it doesn't bind. Weird?

Well i just ordered a new diff and clutch. I put the TRX back on today and started tuning. The weather outside was perfect and I had such a good tune. The low end power was so snappy and it just took off. I was getting wheelies and good response. I had the radar gun out and was getting 45mph but it wouldnt shift into 2nd so damn thats all I could get outta it but not bad for 1st gear. Now I know 4 sure its not my tuning holding it back from shifting into 2nd gear. Its just my tranny is just about 2 go. I also did something crazy 2 while driving around. I have the jaco foams in the rear and I was just tearing up a little and all of a sudden the car just stopped and I could rev the hell outta it but it didnt go anywhere. I thought I blew my tranny. After getting it back inside I realized I some how stripped the inside of the wheel so one side was just spinnig freely. Im not sure if youn know what im talking about but you know the small black hexogon shaped thing that the wheel goes over 2 spin the wheel? Well that thing kinda stripped but I can still use it. The inside of the wheel however stripped so that was why the car wouldnt drive

Ajk do you happen to have a little play with the Jaco wheels. I know I did and I actually used a shock piston on both sides as a spacer to make sure the rear tires stayed on tight. I will try to post a pic of it. If you check out the Show Off Your ST thread the very 1st post is my Jato and you may be able to see what im talking about.

Oh man that was crazy. Thats why I dont like when little kids start comming around while messing with my cars. I have had kids jump out in front of the Jato after I tell them its not a toy and they can get hurt. But some kids just dont listen.

I was wondering what a good steering servo is for off road bashing. I already stripped my stock one and am on another used one. I have Proline 30 series wheels with badlands on them.  Here are some pics

I have never used it either but I have heard good things as well. I have actually had the best luck with Bluethunder 30% and now Maxy's 30%.

I was wondering if their is a good upgrade for the top link of the front suspension, I broke both rods tonight and they seem pretty cheap.

You should try Lunford. They make some very strong turnbuckles and links. As far as your servo question. I use affordable Futaba S3003 servos. They are cheap and they work great. Also AE servos are very good as well.

They are cheap but they hold up great! I used them in my RC10GT then when the Traxxas stearing servo broke I took the servos out of my GT and put them in my Jato. They are about 6yrs old lol and still going strong. I my Jato on and off road as well.

Yeah thats what I do cuz my wire didnt work any more and I went crazy trying 2 get it started and finally just got a glow starter and it started right up. Thats what I use all the time now and still use the ez-start 2 crank the motor. Works fine.
