Momogt, I've got the same 80amp xerun and I want to get a 3660 motor bad but of course hobbypartz is always out of stock. That thing must be crazy fast on 4s!! How come you run 32p gearing?

Well its raining here today so I decided to paint my rims blue to match my rpm stuff. Used blue rc paint and clear coat over it. We'll see how well it holds up lol

that truck looks nice i want a 4pole around the the same kv and size but i dont want to spend alot on a motor for bashing but the xerun is were its at for the price

has any one attempted to use an emaxx transmission in the slash with a bracket made up for it

i assume you are talking about in a Slash 4x4? i have never tried it, but i can guarantee you that it would not work because the Slash 4x4 doesn't even a have a transmission, only a solid driveshaft to the rear and front diffs.

Nope i mean on the 2wd and turn it sideways so each output goes to a wheel. I do realize a custom.mount would be needed but i dont think it would be too complicated. The transmission would only need to be rotated towards the rear. Im also thinking integrated bulkhead in the mount

I can post a sketch tomorrow

THATS IS F***ING AWSOME

and you would be able to run dual motors or make motor plates for larger motors, so you could go bigger then a 550

Dont know about u guys but my 35a 190a punch ezrun combo with a 3900kv motor has way to much torque.... Why would u want more???

No kidding with monster truch wheels on the back it gets the grip, but it wheelies on grass dirt..well anything & understeers like nothing ive driven. making it faster in a straight line but nearly impossible to make the most simplest of turns under acceleration... over all its heaps slower & not even worth using those wheels on a track.

IMO if it can loose traction on high grip surfaces how would more torque be beneficial

these are the wheels im talking about on my old body

speaking of that is there a way to run dual motors on the mamba monster, would it be possible to run splitters on each wire?

picked up a new motor for my slash yesterday, I got confirmation of shipment today. Its a gforce 3200kv 4 pole motor from valuehobby.com. came to $39.98 shipped from illinois. yes its a budget motor, so we'll see how she holds up and if it will give the tacon a run for its money. Just have to change out the 3.5mm banana plugs to 4mm when it gets in.

http://www.valuehobby.com/power-systems/brushless-motors/in-runner-brushless-motor/4-pole-inrunner/gforce-3650w-inrunner-motor-3190kv.html

Oh and supposedly their hard case lipos are pretty darn good for the money too, jang from urc had posted a video on YouTube of one

I've got the same motor sitting on my table waiting. I plan to use it if I blow a bearing in my castle 1410 and need a quick replacement. I have a Tacon in my 2wd as well which I love and was a budget motor, but they are all out of stock. This g-force should have little more torque since its 4pole.
