Status: offline 		I have aquired a set of plans forthe Sig Liberty Sport and was wondering if anyone knows were I might get a replacement aluminum landing gear for this plane. Is there an aftermarket supplier that might have this replacement part for this aircraft?

Let me take a look-see in my shop. I think I have some replacement part(s) and possibly a kit or two. I'm in the process of selling all of my smaller 40-60 sized models/kits. I'm going to building all models that fit the IMAA sized rules. I'm currently selling 1/3 scale Liberty Sport "A" & "B" model plans on eBay along with Liberty Sport "B" 3 views.

I have a big love for this biplane. My father (now passed away) was one (1) of a handful of men that helped build the Lloyd Liberty Sport "A" model here in Mesa Arizona back in 1965. My father was real good friends with Orval N. Lloyd who just passed away May 30, 2008 at the age of 92.

I, as a very young man of of 5 years received rides in the back seat of the Liberty Sport "A" with my sister <<yuck!>>. It was dads turn to babysit the two youngest kids and give mom a break so that se could go shopping.

Smart on dads behalf. He got a lot of stick time plus got mom off of his back.<<Grin!>>
