Greetings, I''''ve recently caught the r/c eletric bug. I currently own r/c gas planes and cars. I''''ve been trying to educate myself on the many different types of batteries and chargers out right now. Could anyone provide information (resources, web links, etc.) on this area of r/c and what are the better chargers, batteries, motors and ESC''''s out right now. I would like to find a charger that supports charging the different types of batteries, NiCd, NiMH, LiPo and can charge more than one battery at a time. Thanks!

I used to be perplexed (not anymore) by the number of internet users who were too busy to google and didn't have enough time to visit their local hobby shop.

We're becoming of society of beings sitting shoulder to shoulder with one another letting our fingertips do the talking while our social skills deteriorate as our eyes watch HDTV and our ears listen to high definition nonmusic.

There are only a few chargers that can do multiple battery types AND charge more than one battery pack at once.

Check out Tower Hobbies and Horizon Hobbies websites to see what they have.

Here are the one's I've seen on Tower's site:
Great Planes Triton ZX
Hobbico Accu-Cycle Elite
Hobbico Quick Field Charger
MRC Super Brain 977

This one will do 4 LiPo packs at once (but LiPos only):
Great Planes PolyCharge4

I also used to be perplexed (and still am) as to the people who are not busy and do take the time to ridicule other people for simply asking a question rather than helping. It's not about being lazy, but utilizing all available resources. I did Google, that is what led me here

You're no help at all... Why did you even waste your time posting your useless message?

These forums are for people to ask questions and should be able to expect a reasonable answer, otherwise, what are these forums for?

Some people feel they need to put their two cents in. My perception is no question is too insignificant it's how we learn by asking questions. When someone takes the time to provide their knowledge it's always much appreciated. Forums are the best! Now on to some flying (and crashing )

By not replying to even one of his questions you only reinforced my 2 cents. Comeon, now surely you can set a better example by offering some advice on:

1. Three of the best chargers.
2. Three of the best batteries
3. Three of the best motors
4. Three of the best ESCs.

"Could anyone provide information (resources, web links, etc.) on this area of r/c and what are the better chargers, batteries, motors and ESC''''s out right now. I would like to find a charger that supports charging the different types of batteries, NiCd, NiMH, LiPo"

He's already done a Google search and this post is his best effort. Don't let him down
Is -pkh- entry the only extent of help 'Flippin Crazy' can expect from you guys/gals.
