Well i am thinking of buying a falcon 40, mostly because of the price for right now, I have only flown one of those inexpensive twin main rotor choppers that charge off of the radio. I do how ever know the orientation of the controlls for a 4 ch heli, but i was wondering if i get the 40, could i add a 6 ch radio and reciever so that i could use the 5 and 6 ch switches for something...

yeah i was thinking about that, i mean i kinda thought that if it did have a reciever, i dont see why you couldnt swap it out, as where if its an all combined unit i know theres nothing you can do. On a side note what is the switch on the HB V2 4 ch tx, is that for the CP, ?

The falcon 40 has a 4in1 (receiver, gyro, mixer & esc)

You would have to get a 5 or 6 channel receiver, and add other things. Some have swapped out the OEM receiver with 2.4GHz radio/receiver added a brushless motor, changed the tail to direct drive, etc...

This is a great place for all your Falcon40 questions (and to see how others have modded their bird:
