hi everyone!!!
i was wondering what kind of complications you get with buying stuff from tower when you live in australia!!??
things like GST and duties etc etc[:''(]
or do i really have to get the ripped off price the LHS offers!![8|]

we have bought things from tower with fantastic service and prices with no trouble at all, they even sent out two modeling magizines as an extra....you shouldn''t have trouble with them....

Hi Shaun,

No problems when buying from Tower here in Oz other than the freight for the larger items. With the Oz $ the way it is against the US $ smaller items like servos, etc, etc are much cheaper. No additional charges to pay and GST doesn't apply as the items wern't purchased in Oz.

Not having a local hobby shop to support [&o]I buy from Tower, Tates and Col Taylor. The delivery times from Tower are often quicker than the Oz stores.

I find the standard airmail shipping is around $27-28USD

I have used tower many times however in my experience the shipping from tower is usually slower than most other places. I believe this is because of the postal service they use rather than the slow shipment of tower.
