Hey guys, how about getting together for a nice afternoon of relaxing flying at Woodlan/Davis ( BBQ or pizza and drinks after ) we can call it, a shake down flying before the Okdale event.

This will be more like, a little bit of flying ( all you want actually ) socializing, and a snack and drinks before we go home. I say in the afternoon because I like to give our members the morning for their flying, usually they are done by noon or 1:00 pm, then we can fly "till dusk.

Take this opportunitie to refine your landings or to practice your coordination with your spotter, run engines, set ups, maidens and so on. ( no pressure )

The date May 10th Saturday around 12:00 pm "till dusk

I think I will join you guys

I may be unable to make the very much looked forward to Woodward / Oakdale rally on the following weekend I am trying to re-arrange my schedule frantically but it may not work. So in that event, I will have to have all my fun over this weekend!

Hey Carlos,
I'll try, but I have a promotion (upgrade) so the training department owns my soul. I'm still working on Oakdale? I'm sure Monty and maybe you can drag Scott out of his new house to get him to burn some kero. Kerry's always a maybe. Dan will be there if he knows about it....

See ya....
Chris

Sounds good Chris, If you can make it bring something to relax in the afternoon, I will let Dan know.

Here is what I'm working on tonight I runned the engine to test the fuel system for leaks, it's good, now guts go back in side the belly of the beast. I'm going to try next weekend for a test flight, I guest I will call a few guys to fly in the afternoon.

Mario, that's Jose's Roo. He asked Carlos to give it his typical methodical once over to make sure it's 100% airworthy. We're planning on heading out to do a couple of maiden flights on my F-16, maybe the Roo, and whatever else we can get our hands on Sunday afternoon (pending WX).

Mark
