Status: offline 		I have a used ZDZ 40 side exhaust with 10+ gallons through. I recently sent it to RC Showcase for service: the carb was replaced with a new Bing along with the prop hub and gaskets. Now the engine starts, at least, but from full throttle to idle, the engine bottoms and dies. If I throttle down gently or modulate the throttle, it stays running. Needless to say this is a problem.

RC Showcase bench ran it and said it checked out ok.

Right now the engine's an expensive door-stop, can anyone suggest a fix/adjustment?

Status: offline 		All my ZDZ 40 problems went away (starting, idle, transition) when I re-gapped the plug (tighter). I think the recommended gap is just ever-so-slightly too large.
