I have bought a dago red 90. I am going to put a rossi .91 on it. would this be a good plane to race formula 1 class with?

F1 has been dead for years. There are 2 classes of quickee, Quarter 40 (which basically replaced F1), and FAI F3D. I''m not sure about "Warbird" racing? you post your question in the scale racing section. Or go one NMPRA.ORG... there are some Warbird racers that hang out there.

Yes, a more appropriate class for that plane might be one of the Warbird classes

I believe he is refering to the races that the WRCC club in Wichita, which run a Sport Formula 1 or 421. In this case the answer is no it is not legal nor is the engine. The rules for their classes can be found at flywrcc.org [&o]
