witch one is better FM or AM and why.

LOL, what frequency of radio system are you talking about?

FM modulation is better than AM modulation.

Wrong! FM and AM are just two different ways to transmit the same information, and it has nothing to do with being on a higher frequency.......and to be completely technical, lower frequencies actually travel farther because their wavelength is longer. FM does have advantages over AM, but that's not why. The advantage is that FM is less susceptible to glitching because it is not effected by the slight changes in amplitude that both AM and FM experience.
