I'm thinking of a Futaba 3PM for my baja 5b, but I can't seem to find out if the 3PM has it's own failsafe. Does it have one? Is in inherrent in the FASST design? Or do I need to buy one of those FSU-2s?

Thank-you Misasi.

Now I need to find the difference between HRS and PPM, and why in PPM mode the fail-safe needs resetting everytime you turn on the transmitter. You know, it's probably all fine and covered in the manual. I might just as well buy it and find out.....LOL

HRS mode is enabled when you are using all digital servos. Now why it doesnt remember the last set failsafe position after power off when using ppm, i have no idea. I think its to force you to buy all digital servos.

Thank-you again.

Kind of bad then as I wanted to keep the 5B stock servoes...at least until they start to fail.

you can keep your stock servos but you have to manually set your failsafe each time you power up the receiver. Right now im running one analog and one digital servos and it works great.
