Ok so i baught a triton jr battery charger and was reqding through the manual and didnt notice anything about selecting cell count does it do this automatically? i can select the minimum discharge voltage but not the max charge voltage or either of the voltages on cycle mode? maybe i need a crash course on peak chargers?

You select the voltage for the pack and in essence that is the same as cell count for that ger.

I have the original Triton, but have never played with Triton Jr, If it is simaliar to the original, you just set the battery type, current rate and push the start button and everything else is automatic. There is also a menu button for setting some parameters, but cell is not one of them. Hope this helps
