Still a bit large for a 1/8 13cc is roughly .80cui you could certainly squeze one in with some heavy modding. I am glad to see smaller gas motors coming out. I believe Compagnucci has the smallest, but it needs some refinement from what I have read.

That would be perfect for some projects - like those of us still undecided [&:]
I really hope the truck picture is an artist's rendering, because it looks lousy.

I like the body shape of that truck... but true enough, the color is uglyious...
i'm not sure the exhaust pipes behind the cab will survive the first landing... it could be cool to have these 2 pipes as the actual exhaust pipes just imagine the smoke coming out of these 2 pipes with that truck flying by at 30mph !!![&:]

ohh, and did anyone else notice that on the smartech website, the pictures of that ugly kid's truck include a nitro engine in them, so..?

Well its no doubt going to be rather weak, but its a fun and convenient idea. Reikos pet truck needs a $4000 brushless setup :P
Smartechs spec says .5kW, less than 1HP if accurate.

Yeah, for a given displacement nitro engines are far more powerful than gasoline engines, much more potential energy in the fuel. Still, as a novelty it could be fun, It's surely strong enough for a small car or truck and is way cheaper to run.

yeah and those companuggi motors are damn expensive and the italians dont sell beyond certain countries and definatley not australia i dont think , But this is definatley what the RC world in the year 2008 and beyond should be making from now on , out the window with nitro and in with 1/8th scale trucks with engines like these , i love my savage x 4.6 but nitro has lost my interest for a long time now , if rc cars and trucks started producing alot of affordable cars and trucks with motors like these in them there would be an instantaneous popularity explosion

pretty much guranteed to make above 16,000 fully modded with a pipe. the 20cc only makes 9-10,000 stock and makes about 19,500 I believe it is. I would guess about 4.0hp fully modded with a pipe and more torque than a nitro.

nah man i dont know why your mate didnt like it and got rid of it ? i really like the look of them , they a pretty clean conversion looks strong enough although the nitro pipe maybe doesnt suit the power of the engine , still i would rather swap him my brand new savage x 4.6 for one of his creations and then pay him the differance
