Has anyone built the Ziroli Dauntless using SpringAir retracts instead of the recommended Robarts? My experiences with the Robart retracts in my TF Corsair has me scared to death to trust this major project to something that may have a high failure rate. At least if the SpringAir's fail the wheels are coming down.

I have a set of the TF Robarts in my 88" scratch-built Corsair and they have worked great. I also have Robarts in three other giant warbirds9including the Dauntless) and they've worked very reliably. What kind of problems did you have with them?
