I am a newbie with M11 controller with Ace Servos on a 1/8 scale buggy.

Everything works fine but when I shut the M11 off the throttle opens slightly.

Shouldn't it be the opposite to prevent runaway?

Do I just have a setting wrong?

Thanks

Adjust it so that the servo neutral is resting the carb arm against the idle screw, otherwise you're inadvertently idling higher and could be prematurely wearing the clutch out if its getting close to engaged. As for preventing run aways, you should use an external fail safe that returns the servo to either braking or neutral. You can't rely on the servo returning to idle if the radio is turned off or there is interference, because its not always that case.

My idle is OK so no issues there.

So you are saying install the horn in a location where its just pushes the carb to the idle screw with the power off ? If so, when I power everything up the server is going to try close the trottle even more. I realize thats what the spring is for, but seems like a lot.

As far as runaway, I thought the Spectrum digitals had this built in?

Thanks
