I started the thread on the 55AX and many thanks to all that replied!

I now need to find a home for an OS 70 Surpass 4 stroke.

I was thinking a Funtana 50?

Flying style: Aerobatics, 3D!

The OS .70 is a great match to the GP Cub, The .40 size ARF is a great sunday flier.

Got a 70 Ultimate(blue rocker cover) that I was going to drop into a Kyosho Hein but the callout on prop size is 13x6 or 7 only. The Hein is a 46 2 stroke plane at 55'.

My OS 70 is in a Sig Astrohog. Not 3D but, very aerobatic. Both 10 years old and still going strong. Joe

I have been impressed with the OS 70 in a Sig Astrohog. It is not 3D, but it is a great match for the airframe and powerplant.

I have one in a Pulse XT 40 with a 14-7 APC prop on it........Everyone's impressed with the performance of the plane, and it has virtually unlimited vertical.....Love it!

The GP UCD .46 flies very well with the .91 Surpass, I don't know about the .70 though.

Did you have to add weight to the tail, how was the CG?

I saw a guy fly a Sig Something Extra (I believe the ARF) with an OS 70. He could hover all day long.

The OS 70 surpass is perfect with the ucando 46. It flies well with a 13x6 prop, but I think it does a little better with a 14x4.

Yeah I hear the UCD is good with an OS70 but some have said on this and other forum sites its underpowered for that plane.

I guess some You Tube video will tell the truth )

Seems like its more suited to scale planes rather than aerobats and 3D planes.

I gather its because of the weight?

I had my 70 in an Excelleron 50 and it flew well (still does but even better with a OS Alpha 81) but did lack a bit of punch.
