ORIGINAL: AndyAndrews Correct me if I am wrong (without calling me Stupid please - you know who you are), but I only see it replacing two non-critical servos and two valves (break, and gear/doors) That's what $200.00 max? Now if you have complex doors and a sequencer it would be break even or even be ahead in the money. I think the time and space savings is worth it though. Just think, no more linkages to worry about. I like it. Is the break proportional? Andy, Sort of.... If you go mechanical, the unit would replace a sequencing valve (like the UP2/3) and a brake valve plus two servos to drive them (about 250.00). If you need High Flow (which the UP sequencing valves are not) for larger, heavier gear or for complex gear systems then you are replacing 2 Dual Valves 1 Single valve 1 sequencer @ roughly 400.00. Thus, the Airpower unit is a less expensive unit. Now, having played with this unit for a bit now, the only thing I would like to see improved is the brake pulse width in proportional mode is a little slow. While it does seem to work fairly well, it is not quite as proportional as the Jettonic unit but, it does seem to stop nicely without any brake locking. I have requested airpower change to the pulse width to give a bit more proportion on the valve as I think this is the only complaint users may have since they are already used to how the brand operates. I am working on a real manual for the unit now, should have something in a week or so. Programming really is quite simple. Just set your desired functions into the programing card, plug the valve into the card and the program is downloaded, done! Only suggestion I will make is to make sure your ATV is set to 100% in both directions on both gear and brake channels. Todd
