Vicman if your watching you probably know this....I have seen in the AMA mag pics of racers with well not swept wings, but swept back wing tips, but not the names..I guess bird like wings is the best description I can think of, what are these?...are they kits or arf's ??...I race 1/2a stuff when I'm not the caller, I just like the look of these birds and wonder what they are....either pics or links would help, looking for .40 size ...Rog

For F3D,,,, good luck, ya need DEEP pockets for those. Look at Mathey(sp?) models. Kevin has a couple Q-40 kits at a great price.

Man..put some wing bolts in that thing!! Cool little plane. DO you have plans for it? I would be interested in building one of those.

Thanks! I agree, it is a cool little plane. It's one of Rog's kits.
It started the day with wing bolts but being a belly lander and sustaining a less than perfect hand launch made the field repair necassary. When I got home I changed it out to electric and added proper rubber band pins to hold the wing on. I've flown it like that for about a year now.

It will be sporting a little diffrent sounding whirrlie thing at it's next racing event .

I plan to.
If I have time I will be building one of your CC specials too. I will need to score an engine before then but the building time is the biggest issue. I've had a crazy travel schedule this year.
