Hey guys,
I just switched over to 2.4 on my models (flying) and also switched From 2.4 to 900mhz on my down-link, Range video stuff (500), working good with stock ant. but very limited range about 300 feet, I purchased the flat 6 db gain patch ant. and it made the situation much better, but is there a better transmitter ant. available for my down-link as well?

What patch anntena did you buy are you sure it @ 900MHz?

I meant are you sure you patch anntena is tuned to (set for) 900MHz and not 2.4GHz?
because a 2.4Ghz Patch will still pick up 900 just not much?

Thanks,
I have read....... some people say that these ant. do not do anything even degrade the signal?
Do you have personal experience with this ant. I did order my patch ant. from them and it seemed to help alot, but I like to optimize my system.
Thanks for the reply.

I have not used these antenna specifically, but have used lots of duckies in the past on many different freq. The highter the dB on those omni's the better. I don't believe they would be worse at all. Depends upon the mfg and center freq the antenna is at from the factory. Many times I have had to cut or extend the element length to tune it to my exact freq for best performance. Fine tuning can make 1000's of feet of difference... (probably even on your stock antenna)??
