gospursgo -> Servo Centering Problem (4/22/2008 6:38:47 PM)

I have 4 HS55 servos on a Great Planes electric Ultimate I recently completed. I noticed that while I was flying, I had to constantly trim the ailerons. I checked the servo movement with everything connected, by attaching a length of carbon fiber to the servo arm. Both aileron servos seem to have two centering points. If I deflect the stick to the left, the arm goes back to one point, and if I move the stick to the right, it returns to a different point. These two points are always the same. I checked the other two on the tail feathers, and they seem to be doing the same thing. Any ideas?

As long as the centering problem is not being caused by a stripped gear, send the servos in and we'll take a look at them. [8D]
