Status: offline 		Just wondering if my NiCad 15 min charger (with amp adjust) will charge my NiMh receiver battery pack? (I'm sick of the 16 hour wall charger) I bought the adapter to hook it up at the LHS and the guy told me to charge at 1 amp and I should be fine, but then I got home and realized its just a NiCad charger.

Status: offline 		Awesome thanks. What's full charge on a 6V NiMh pack? Is it actually 6V or more like 6.2 or something. Just curious.

Status: offline 		What is the voltage of a full charged pack you ask. You have a slow charger, just charge it on that for 14 to 16 hours and measure the voltage. That is the full charge voltage.

Status: offline 		Just curious, If there is no difference why does my charger have a switch to select if it is a NiCad or NiMh? I hope it's not so they can charge me more.

Status: offline 		If your charger is a peak charger there is a significant difference. Ni-Mh batteries have a much more subtle and ill defined peak than Ni-Cd. The switch on your charger probably takes this into account.
