Any ideas on reducing the vibration at the fuel tank. The motor is starting to miss and splutter, but runs perfectly on the ground and held vertical but can see heaps of bubbles in the tank.

Thanks

if you haven't already, try balancing the prop. Sometimes that will cure it. If not, you can get a sintered bronze clunk to replace the clunk in the fuel tank that will break up the bubbles before they're passed into the fuel line and elliminate the problem as well. A good piece of foam rubber under the tank, with the tank held down by rubber bands is also a good idea- you don't want the tank super tight at all - just tight enough to keep it from falling off. If it happens to be an OS LA series engine, most likely you'll need the clunk, as they tend to vibrate an abnormal amount.

Thanks Guys,

It is an LA so looks like I need to find a sintered clunk.

Will try these ideas thanks.

i think i searched for dubro products, then looked in the fuel accessories category for it. They do a nice job of hiding it.
