I got tired of the low gas milage and built a light weight trailer designed for RC airplanes. I now can take more planes and I don't have to unload. Not to mention 32 MPG.
here are more pictures of my trailer and some friends

Actually, it depends on who is going to take me to the field (I'm 15). If my mother takes me there, I used go in her jeep, if my dad takes me, I go in his pick-up, if my grandmother (yes my grandmother takes me to the field too), then it's in her VW Golf. The only one I got a picture is the jeep mom had until 4 months ago (she sold it, was hiting the 60,000 miles mark, and she considered it too "used" , now she's got a "normal car" (maybe tomorrow I'll post a pic of it, because I don't have any here on my HD). It was quite an exercise to make a plane fit inside the jeep, but was possible to fit up to 2 planes, gear, and 3 passengers inside...

Here's the car I use the most (or should I say take rides??) now to go to the field.
And the last pic is how my EdgeFF fits inside. Seems like the car was designed to fit the plane (not the other way around ). In fact, in the car's brochure there is a picture of it carrying an eletric 2m glider, to show how spacious it is inside......

Drool ladies and gents. Here's my '66 GMC pickup with a '72 350 and dual exhaust. Gets a whopping 11 MPG on the open highway and 10ish in the city. Carb can be finicky at times, but I love every ounce of my truck

Some very nice Transporters Posted !

So here is my Rides and my Airplane hauler..

Hauler:

The "78" Dodge Motorhome is from an Auto Pawn Shop... Cost..$ 200.00 a 5 gal. can of gas and a new battery.. It's a 20 foot Mobile Traveler and is fully self-contained and use to sleep 6, airconditioned and gets 19 to 21 miles per if I keep my foot outa the carb.). Save that Motel fee and the high cost of insurance with one of these...full coverage is 198.00 per year. (I love it)

The Two Rides:

Both are restored Honda 4's One the 80 Gold Wing is a flat four 1100cc's and the other is my 85 V4 Sabre 1100cc's or AKA as the V65 !! Both set up for touring. And ready to kick B#%%
My Other ride a 83 Magna V65 also is still in my living room being restored !

Yup, you guessed it, I'm single (Div. in 72) and totally happy..

I fly my planes to the field

No I dont. Cant drive yet so mom or dad takes me. Have a 2000 or 2001 chevy silverado. A tono in that back. Only have 2 planes so transport is not a real issue except that we only have 1 car that could make it. Have an old van that is used to go 1 mile each day to work and back. I just put two old rolls of duct tape on the bed of the truck and put two wheels in it and I am set.
