I picked up a Power Racing Glow Plug igniter.. suposed to be 1800mAH.. and has a volt meter.. the thing is.. first charge tells me to charge for 14 hours and i did.. now the volt meter still remains at zero (0).. but when i plug it into the glow plug.. it lights up nice and bright.. did i get a defective volt meter or something?

Does the meter read when the glow plug is connected?? The meters on glow drivers are not really volt meters, they are ammeters[)]. A voltmeter would indicate all the time and run down the battery.
Pete
