dbrford -> A123 Charger (4/24/2008 6:03:49 PM)

Question- I have the A123 charger I have been using for some time now, the one thing I wish it had was the ability to tell me how many mah's I am putting back into my batteries. Does anyone know of a device I can put inline to tell me this as I am charging. I really do not want to purchase a new charger but will if I have to.

Thanks!

You can place an in-line watts meter between the battery and thge charger on th main power leads. It will display volts,amps. mAh. etc.

If the Sonic charger is a series charger and balances by bleeding (shunting) cells then it will be fairely accurtae. On the other hand if the charger is a parallel(multi channel) charger it will not be accurate.
