Status: offline 		i know of the waterman, and i have heard a story of a guy that built an ultralight that folded up to a motorcycle, other than those have there been any other SUCCESSFUL flying cars? i mean anything that can fly, then with wings folded or removed can legally go down the highway? i can't believe that there haven't been any that have been successful that haven't become extremely popular, which makes me think there were no successful ones...?

Status: offline 		It's not the "successful" part. It's the fact that you can't build a vehicle that will do either task particularly well. Molt Taylor built his Aerocar, and it flew nicely. The performance, though, was nothing to write home about:
