i had the stock hpi rs4 motor on my car and now i put a o.s .18cvr motor on it but i can't get the throttle linkage to work. it stay open to much and the motor rev high and if i try to make it fit it don't give full throttle do i have to buy a linkage for that motor?

you can always adjust the linkage and the neck of the motor can swivel back and forth.
