stumpjumper69 -> Newbee - Co-Comanche vs. Blade CX2 (4/25/2008 10:53:55 PM)

Ok I have been doing the RC car and off road truck thing for a few years now and I really messed up the other day. I went out and bought one of those little annoying 2 channel micro helicopters! Now, you guessed it, I am hooked. So you know how it goes, now I want to get a real entry lever helicopter to start playing with. From what I have read (and from having this impossible to control 2 channel) I know I want to get a 4 channel co-axial model. I have been doing some research and have found a couple I like. One is the Co-Comanche (Lama V4) that I can get a really good deal on here - http://www.helipal.com/co-comanche-army-green.html. - this one is cool because it comes with the simulator software included (plus it just looks really cool) The other is the Blade CX2 which does look like a better quality bird but is more than twice the price. My question: is more than double the price is worth it for a newbee who is probably going to munch it anyway? Is the Co-Comanche a total POS or is it ok to start out with and move up later? Or should I just bite the bullet and get the CX2? Your thoughts?
