RC Extreme power -> RC Extreme Power 100cc engine (4/26/2008 1:49:27 PM)

We are now in the final stages of testing our new 100cc gas engine and if all goes well should be ready for market in about 30-45 day's, Have been doing some hard testing on stand and now will mount it in a plane and run it like we stole it.

Will be mounting it in a Extreme Flight RC 110" Yak

Seen this engine at Joe Nall running on a dispaly stand, Was quite impressed with it. It was ripping a 27" prop.

Thanks for the information. I'm interested - soon.

One more question. Does it have bearings or bushings on the crankshaft?

RC Extreme power -> RE: RC Extreme Power 100cc engine (8/31/2008 8:32:03 PM)

100% bearing all through, 3 on crank shaft, roller bearing on rod and wrist pin.

Bushing on a gas engine is a joke.

Bushings on a gas engine are a joke. Thaat's why I asked the question. I agree. If you had replied that it had bushings - end of conversation.

Now then - I have Googled you trying to find out more information on this engine to no avail. So - as I understand it - $799.95 buys the engine, mufflers, and ignition system. Is that correct. What I was searching for was what do the mufflers look like. Is there a place to look for this information?

Also, what Mejzlik size prop is recommended?

RC Extreme power -> RE: RC Extreme Power 100cc engine (8/31/2008 9:08:13 PM)

Here is a picture mounted on a test stand.

And yes comes with mufflers and ignition

Mejzlik 27-10 to 28-10, All in what type flying you want to do.

The video is with a Vess 27-A

Sorry
I was off on the weight, weight is without mufflers and ignition, They weigh 12 oz

Jim Messer -> RE: RC Extreme Power 100cc engine (8/31/2008 11:43:27 PM)

Thanks for the info. I want to put this engine in a 40% Stinson 108-3 that will weigh in at about 45 lbs. I have a DA-100 in my 40% J-3 and it is plenty of power. The J-3 weighs 42 lbs.

I will get back to you soon. It looks like the engine I need.
