Problem Venom Smart Temp - 4/26/2008 4:57:37 PM

I put a venom smar temp in my CEN MG16, but some times they stop the acelerator and the car run away... i put off the smart temp and the problem not appers again... Someboby have the same problem with venom??

Status: offline 		i had this problem aswell after i set it up to return the throttle to off at overheat i replaced the hump pack and it went back to original settings and instead of closing the throttle at overheat it opened it up fully and obviously it wasnt getting any colder so the throttle just stayed wide i had to avoid about 20 trees as i was in the middle of the woods and stand on the car till i pulled the fuel line off which was actually pretty funny when i didnt total my truck but anyway thats probably your problem if you remove your batteries you have to set up the smart temp every time hope this helps

I'm quite sure the venoms hold your settings when OFF or CHANGING the batt. I believe it does default to C temp tho. The reason I asked above is because Venom says the smart temp is NOT compatible with Spektrum for some reason.

Status: offline 		maybe i just got a faulty one then cause when i first set up it worked right but then had this problem or maybe they only hold your settings for a while cause i had the old hump out for about a week before i replaced it
