OK so I meet a lot of different people in this hobby that are all very helpfull- but in this perticular instance SPIDERNAD (Dan) keeped the stock high in my experiences. Dan you are one of the reasons why this hobby is great. Its people like you who go out of their way to help fellow hobbyist.  Thanks to Dan my Cessna now has a scale prop. It was a formula of me being inpatient and Dan being generous.    here are the photos of the new and old prop and spinner- I think you can see the differences.......(the red CESSNA is the real one) LOL

Status: offline 		The spinner is a from -DAVE BROW- its a 4" ultimite style  , it has a sharper point then the Tru-turn spinner- the prop is a Biela (28x12) 3 blade McCully style with the logos- it just fine tunes the look of the front so well ........

I have that prop on my 50% Edge with a 3W-275cc engine. (32x12 Biela semi scale, see picture attached)
It pulls the 275 down pretty hard, I cant imagine a 222cc pulling that prop but who knows?

Status: offline 		Hello Cessna Pilots, Like to introduce myself. Steve Mullis is my name and I just got this 35% Cessna of RC Universe from a man called Tim Terry in Onieda Tn. I have been reading this thread and I will have alot of questions during my build I am sure. Got the plane on a payment plan since Tim and I live close to each other. I don't have the wings or stabs as of yet but do have the fuse,.. landing gear and hardware to start this project. Plus I have the upgrade for the nosegear and the controls for the flight controls in the cockpit to make the yokes move. First question is the 90degree angle brackets. I assume they are for the servos. Do you use them in the tail to mount the servos also. And what are the little piece's of wood for? On the motor mount. I temporally got it together with a couple bolts in each side. This mount does have right thrust built in. Can't tell if it has down thrust or not.. Anyway Setting the mount on the firewall as high as I could put it and setting my 3W-150 in
position and installing the cowl I haft to move the engine up so far that the top mounting lugs are almost off the mount. Did any of you haft to trim the top of the mount to get a proper fit so you could move the mount up higher? Then place the engine to line up with the front hole for the thrust plate? Then I can mount the engine properly or do I have something wrong? By the pictures in this post of the engine mount I seem to have it together correct. Also on the nose wheel. How easy should it be to compress this spring in the nosegear? I am having trouble doing it just a little. I see where I can disasemble it and maybe lube it up a little. I don't know how old this plane is but the flap wells are finished. This plane might be a early version. The color is blue with burgandy and silver stripes.
Can the whole interior be taken out? Thanks, Steve Mullis

Ok I will start in order of your questions. The motor mount old or new you have to do some work to get it to line up correct. I have had both the old kits and the new ones from Tommy. The thrust line is off. I just used a number of washers behind the metal mount to get it back to as close to 0 as possible. I have no to very very little right and down thrust in mine and they have all flown fine. Dont cut the mount. The brackets are your servo mounts. You will just have to drill them out for you servos to mount onto and then mount them on the hatches. There should have been a whole bag of serews that went along with that. The fuel tank will work. It is kind of weak as mine orginal one split as it got soft over time with gas in it. I changed mine out on the new bird to a bennett tank. They fit just fine. If you have the older kit (it sounds that way if the flap section is finished off) call or email tommy to get a new set of mains as the old ones are soft. Status: offline 		TSHARK203, OK I did what you suggested. I put some 3/4" dia Fender Washers under the bottom of the mount. Seven total to bring my engine to center of the propshaft opening. I am still shy a
1/2" of having the prop hub clear the cowl. I have a 7/16" gap now between the bottom of the mount to the firewall. So should I put more fender washers under the top and the bottom till I get the distance I need to get the prop hub set at the right gap. Looking at the post pictures of other modelers with this plane it looks like there mount is flush to the firewall. Is this 7/16" Gap normal for this plane? I don't want to use standoff's if I can get away with it. If you need pictures let me know. The engine on the mount is now 3/4" from the top and 1" from the bottom of the mount. Looks like I am gonna haft to buy longer mount bolts for the mount to go through the firewall if I go this direction. Thanks Steve Mullis
