Wednesday is my birthday so i decided to get a better drift car(currently use a tamiya M03, car doesn't have much support so I'm very careful). The M03 is beat up pretty well so i decided to replace it w/ another tamiya(parents drove tamiya in 90's and now, got me loving tamiya) I bought a TT01D spec Supra, alloy prop shaft, foam wheels and tires(for inside drift action), a body reamer, circle cutter. Next will be adjustable upper arms and better electronics, possibly yok drift rings, and then lights to work on the appearance of the car. I was originally going to get a belt drive but I'm on the coast were belt cars get killed(hot and cold, lots of junk gets in and decimates the belts) the tt01 seemed like a good begginers drift car that would have some decent potential. It should come Wednesday the 30th(which is my real birthday) I will get pics up if I can get enough time I will take a picture for everypage to keep you guys updated.

EDIT: Should I lock F/R gear diff or leave open or one or try and get a front one-way or....

Put them underneath the shell m8 u did paint inside the shell yeah?
i use them above the first pins on the posts so it stops the paint being scratched off if the shell gets shunted etc
Make the car look more scale too loving the shealth look tho real street cruiser

ps and a nice big FAT pipe at the rear will set that car off
