This is probably about as basic of a question as asked here, but I'm new to RC, and have a question about charging a LiPoly battery that came with my STM182 Electro Trainer from Hobby Lobby. The instructions were pretty poor, so I want to confirm I'm doing this right.
It came with an EMAX Balance Charger with a DC input on one end, and what appears to be battery hook-ups on the other. There's a wire with two alligator clips on one end, and what appears to be on the other end, an input that 'may' get plugged into the DC Input on the charger, but I'm not sure.
I've got a LiPoly battery with two outputs - a black/red wire combo, and then a four-wire with white connector that looks like it gets plugged back into the charger. Just looking for how and what to plug into what.
I had the wire with the alligator clips plugged into the charger (DC input), and then clipped the red/black clips to the battery. I got a RED light on the charger. The instructions then said to plug the battery into the charger...and look for a green light. But...was second-guessing if I had this done right. Looking for advice. Thanks. Dave
