Most defenently Futaba, they make some of the sickest radio's in the world! I will say this, Hitec is my favorite RC car & truck servo manufactorur. I just bought a Futaba 3PKS 2.4GHz FASST radio system last month, never looked back. I would easyliy recommend the Futaba 3PM 2.4GHz FASST radio system as that was my #2 choice, and for only $189.99 at Tower Hobbies... Thats an affordable entry to a native 2.4GHz system! The 3PM has almost all the features as the 3PKS, just without the fancy LCD screen. I also recommend the Hobbico HydriMax 9.6V 1650mAh NiMH Flat U Sanyo battery pack with twice the capacity as the aging NiCAD's 700mAh pack.

You've got both and you're asking us which is best?

Try them both and see which you prefer....

I say Futaba is the better. Qualitywise, the TF will not compare to the Futaba. Yes, the TF might be able to operate a 3rd servo, but for your RS, you do not need a 3rd servo (or want one, it will only add weight and hurt its handling characteristics).

Given time, that Futaba will work 10years from now (given proper care) where the TF will not be gauranteed to operate the same when it was new.
