check your clutch spring. If the wheels are spinning when you start it, chances are that the spring broke.

But his car is running full trottle. Try this: start your car at full break and your carb opening should be 1 to 2 mm and your engine should idle.

turn on your car and your radio. full throttle the servo is pushing forward and full breaking the servo is pulling back. set it so the servo is pulling back.

There are a number of things that could be wrong:

*Check that your air gap in the carb is 1-2mm when the motor is running.

*Check that your throttle servo is not reversed. do this with the motor off and check that Tx input moves the servos the proper direction.

*Check that all the brake/throttle linkages are setup correctly, and that it all operates smoothly. Make sure throttle return spring has enough pressure on it to push the carb fully closed to 1-2 mm gap at neutral throttle and fullbrake (idle range).

*Check to make sure the carb is screwed into the motor snug, not overtight, and most importantly check it for leaks. Once you break in your motor properly and begin to lean it out, you will only have to make minor adjustments to the carb screws. If you fiddle fart around with the carb too much you can wear out the needle ports and develop air leaks, which leads to poor performance.

I cant think of anything else. Please let me know if you got it.

Good luck

i have a similar problem. when i start it, the wheels are spinning and when on the ground it drives off by its self. i adjusted the throttle trim which has seemed to have just slowed down the wheels spinning and the idle. i think the clutch stays engaged, never seems to be in neutral. also i noticed the muffler is spittin out gas. i kno thats not a good thing to see. any suggestions? (by the way i've only ran about 1 tank....so its not broken in yet)

if your car wont stay on while being held it place on the ground then the clutch spring is broken, but if it stays on then try lowering the idle speed with the idle screw. and yes it should be rich and spittin out some oil during break in

Yes you can check your clutch bell while the engine is off. Spin it with finger and it should spin freely because it's not engaged.
