Long time no post, eh? A year and 2 months or so it said when I logged in.
Well I can tell by the amount of visitors to DF60.org that the 60 is still going strong!!

I've been out of the loop so to speak when it comes to the latest and greatest features/improvements to the 60 (if any) since I put the website together last year.
If anyone can help me update my website with any new info, please list it in your replies to this thread. Please include any relevant links to info or pictures if possible.
Thanks in advance!!

Mister Scary,
I saw your reply to my question about painting my canopy. I thank you for your response but soon after making my post I ordered a 450 CF canopy. Many questions in this forum go unanswered so I thought I would give you credit for giving me an answer.
Also, fist chance I get I will hop over to your site and give it a look and tell you what I think.

I read through most of DF60.org and I must say it has plenty of good information. If you want my advise,,, A picture is worth a thousand words. Photos in the head and tail upgrade sections would be helpful, and in the vendors section,,, Heli Direct needs to be added (they are GREAT) and ehirobo needs to be removed all together in my opinion. So there is my two cents worth. Good Luck.

I don't see why ehirobo needs to be removed?

The only problem I've had with them so far is that they charge too much for shipping on their ebay (cwtco) items. I forgot to read the shipping cost of a DF 60B chassis, and put in what I thought was a joke bid of $30 with 1 hr to go... well I won the heli, but then noticed the shipping was $80... Doh!

I later got the entire set (for spares) of all the 60B upgrade parts (metal head, swash, tail, boom, flybar, ball links, and 4 blades) for $25 +$25S.H., which really is a good deal for all that.

I also bought the Elf hobbies brushless and ESC for $45, no problems there other than the 2A BEC is too weak for 4 servos and gyro.

I also like that they have some good reference material in their downloads section.

So far so good. The shipping was my mistake, I should have looked first.

VulcanGrey,
Wow, you and I can't seem to agree on anything can we. I'm sure there are thousands out there who have had good service with ehirobo and only a few of us who haven't. I myself had a bad experience with them, luck of the draw I guess.
I'm glad that you like them as I support those I am pleased with too. The bottom line is,,, this gentleman asked for an opinion and I gave him mine.
It's cool.

Thanks for the replies so far. I will add the link suggested.
The reason the ehirobo link is listed is because they are just one of the companies who I have bought some parts from and had a good experience with. "Soneebee" wrote some of the instruction manuals you can download from their website, and also contributed those manuals to df60.org for download. That alone almost obligates me to post their link out of thanks.
As far as the pictures of the head and tail upgrade, I'd need some kind soul who has such pictures of their upgrade to donate them to me and the site.

Don't get me wrong,,, I'm a big fan of ehirobos support forum as well as Soneebee, Theirry and DaveC. Those guys keep more helis in the air with thier advise and help than I can count. I was wrong for slamming ehirobo, they have some of the best prices around. I had a problem with them accepting my paypal and loosing my order resulting in it taking me nearly two months to get a motor & ESC. I shouldn't expect everyone to hate them. Heli Direct being here in the states, I get my parts in four days so I give them a good word whenever I can.
A support forum would be a great idea for the DF 60.org site. People always have questions and tend to go to a forum where they can ask. Just a thought.
As for photos, I would be happy to help but what I was thinking was some step by steps of putting together the CNC head & tail. Mine is already together so that don't help much, and I'm getting ready to ditch my walkera cnc head and install the new Sonics that I got.

HA! I did originally have a fully functioning php forum set up. But after about 20 people joined the forums, it got used less and less. So I just took it down.

P.S. What do you mean by "Sonics"? Is it a metal head assembly made by a different company, that fits on the 60?

Yes it is. Since I'm not very good with computers I don't know how to post the link for you but you can go to RC&Me and look up the Sonics head for the Trex 450/walkeras. It has the trex design but will addapt to the walkeras. Very sweet unit,,, but pricey.
It's like the copter x head that you can get from ehirobo for about half the price.

but i also like rc&me for there selection on parts for the walkeras... so that link should also be in your site

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to put up a section (eventually) that shows what other non-Walkera parts can fit on the 60.

That would be very useful if you could. i have looked and used your site to upgrade my walkera to what you suggested. just waiting on the postman for the alu upgrade parts. i also know that the old head can take a trex 450 flybar? or feathering shaft.. cant remember which but i know it was in the forums here.
