Hey peoples.

I remember seeing on here or someone talking about fitting MT sized Proline Badlands to LPR rims. I think they said something about cutting off the inner bead of the tyre??

I have just bought a set of Jconcepts Half ups and would like to fit up a set of Badlands to them, so if any1 can give me any help or advise it would be much appreciated.

cheers

Thanks.

I've heard the same thing about cutting the bead off, but I've also read that you can just muscle the tire on the rim with no mods as well.

I muscled one on, and it had alot of baggy sidewall! though maybe if you put the tyre's bead INSIDE the inner ring on the rim, it would work out better, hhhmmmmmmmm.............. I will have to try that one out.

Well I decided to have a crack at it myself. I fitted the badlands on the rims and sat the tyre bead on the INSIDE of the INNER rib on the rim and glued it there, I then glued at the point where the tyre meets the outside of the rim and dunnah all done!

I also used HPI savage foams as the molded proline foams would not stretch over the LPR rims. The Rulux's have also been dyed black. Looks sick!

Looks great dude..
nickers, the "roll bars" on the hyper st are stock with the body..they are built in to the body. Props to OFNA for that..it looks cool and probably functions well too.
