Yes, it was real fun to drive it around.

Only downside is driving it on the rough roads where I live. Gotta be careful not to damage it.

I am very careful when driving my truck. Wouldn't want to spoil it don't we.

It depends on the paint scheme, but I used 3 spray cans; one white, two orange. If you do a single color, you might be able to get by with only two, though.

I am about half way thru a King Hauler and am thinking of buying the Motorized leg kit like you have. I see you are going to install that kit. Can I ask a dumb question? How are the motorized legs activated?

When you move the right stick does the servo uncouple the trailer and automaticaly lower the legs?

How do you honk the horn then?

Dumb questions I know

compression, I used 1 1/3 cans of metallic blue, 1 can of black about half depleted and 1 can of gloss coat about half depleted too to protect the paint. That's all. It was really a fun build and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've run it couple of times already and it sure was fun especially when you blast the sound at max.

How are the motorized legs activated?

-It can be operated using the manual switch or through your controller. I can't remember the stick combi but you can find it on your manual. Mine works only 1 way, that is it only retracts the leg but would not remotely lower it. I am not sure if it's due to a faulty switch or what but as I was lazy so didn't remove to check.

When you move the right stick does the servo uncouple the trailer and automaticaly lower the legs?

-With the right combi as indicated on the manual, it will remotely lower or raise the legs. Before uncoupling, you will need to lower the leg 1st, after which I think you move the right stick up(sorry hope I got it right as I am not reading the manual now) and then move your truck forward.

How do you honk the horn then?

-Right stick up for the long horn and down for the short horn.

Hope it answered your queries correctly. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay got some question for you guys. I somehow find that engaging 1st gear, my truck have problem moving. Running on 2nd and 3rd have no problem. Whenever I engage 1st gear, something seems to be stuck somewhere and the truck can't really move forward and after a short while, it surges forward. When I put the truck on its side, 1st gear engages nicely and the wheels turn smoothly. However, when it's on the ground, the problem surfaced. I've looked through but nothing is obstructing it so couldn't really pinpoint the problem.

However, if I move the trim to the extreme left, it moves smoothly on 1st gear. I find it really strange. Has it happen to anyone before?

Sounds like you are having problems with the servo moving the rod far enough to shift it. I don't suppose you have EPA?

Well, either you need to adjust the trim of the channel that controls the shifting(to center it) or you need the shifting arm to be out farther away from the servo(as in moving the rod to a farther hole out on the horn or replacing the horn for one that's a little longer).

You need a longer servo horn to fix your problem.

The longer the horn, will help the rod to push in further into the gearbox to make the gear change. Try it out and see if it shifts smoothly.

We all change to long servo horn on the first day (but mind you dont be too excessive in selecting the hron length, as it will burn the servo when the rod cannot be pushed in anymore.)
