nice upgrades i kept thinking whats making that wop wop noise, lol then realised it was your chopper, it sounds sweet.

How is it to fly now?

My LHS is a 45min drive and i dot really buy much of thier stuff cos its pretty much overpriced old products. I.e the Dx6 that theyre phasing out costs 150 US dollar. or 300 NZ dollar at most places round newzealand but he wants 600 for one. How can he justify that.

Its ok there for non electonic parts but its a killer to buy standard equipment.

Anyhow weres something to think about. My belt CP which a brought didnt come with a radio set, isnt included i the box.... so i was lookn around.
and got handed one of the new walkera radio sets. i can say that theyre really good. cloned off a JR i think but they beat the hell out of any Esky stock trannie. its got digital trims and a smooth throttle ratchet. and is fully programmable with a 8 model storage. dicast costruction and has the crystal less modules, also the size is a bit smaller than average so i was very impressed.

As requested.....

Belt is flying much better with the Hs 55's and a decent Li Po.

I dont get any servo buzz with the hitec servos whereas the esky ones are junk. mine came with a bung
tail servo, would only go one way and proptly chewed its teeth up.

the transmitter looks really nice. the only thing is i'm not so convinced about the quality of walkera electronics. from what i've been reading no one has anything positive to say about the electronics. hopefully yours is the exception. but as far as transmitters go try to get a 2.4g radio system. no glitches and no need to check radio freq. with other flyers.

Yes i agree with that, I have one of their old transmitters and it is junk, i just use it with my Sim.
I have a 2.4 futaba 6ex and its very nice but kinda big. that walkera one is nice to hold and doesnt have clunky ratchet on
the throttle, being one of the newer models its not half bad.

Was playing with the settings today and couldnt work out why the heli wasnt lifting off.
there upon realising that the pitch was inverted
